Hello I am Judy Cox and I am the principal here at Washington Elementary. I grew up in Bay City and continue to reside on the West Side. I attended Delta College and then received both my Bachelors and Masters from Central Michigan University.

I am currently in the Gerstacker leadership fellowship at Saginaw Valley State University and will be heading to China and Japan in June to learn about their culture and educational systems.

I spent my 17 year career in Saginaw Public Schools before joining the Bay City Public Schools in June. While in Saginaw I taught several different grades, I was a literacy coach and served on several different initiatives.

I have been married for a little over a year and lucky enough we both love the Detroit Tigers, golf and Saturday afternoon football games. I am very excited and honored to be a part of the Washington Family.
